Treating the Worn Dentition with CAD/CAM Technology
Bring facially generated treatment planning into the digital world. Determine ways to identify the need to change the vertical dimension of occlusion through digital records. Use your CAD/CAM technology to treat comprehensive restorative cases.
Day 1:
– Records, treatment planning, case examples
– Design, mill chair-side zirconia anterior restorations
– Contouring, stain and glaze, finishing techniques
Day 2:
– Live patient – deliver anterior restorations, scan for posteriors
– Design, mill, stain/glaze posterior restorations
– Wrap up, occlusion, follow up
What you’ll learn
- Determine need for changes in vertical dimension through appropriate digital records and facially generated treatment planning
- Learn one workflow to execute comprehensive CAD/CAM cases from records, preparation, provisionalization, and delivery
- Outline an appointment overview to maximize efficiency and clinical outcomes .
- Over the shoulder live patient demonstration from start to finish
- Hands-on design, mill, pre sinter zirconia contouring, post sinter characteristics, stain and glaze will be covered .
- Concurrent assistant course will be led by team members to train them on photography, records, and basic design principles.
