KATANA™ Cleaner is an extension of the successful KATANA™ line of Zirconia blocks for restorative dentistry. KATANA™ Zirconia took the restorative dental market by storm with its innovative, multi-layered block, specialized for fabricating full contour prosthetics, teeth or a single tooth, that mimics real tooth structure. And with the right dental technology, a natural looking tooth can be fabricated in one dental visit versus two to three visits in the past. KATANA™ Cleaner not only works with the KATANA™ Zirconia but has a wide indication for the restorative workflow. When cementing a restoration during trial fitting of the prosthetic, the bond strength is reduced due to contamination with saliva and blood in the oral cavity. KATANA™ Cleaner has a high cleaning effect due to the surface-active characteristic of MDP Salt, and MDP originated from Kuraray. In contrast to other cleaners, KATANA™ Cleaner has a pH value of 4.51 which allows usage not only extra-orally but also intra-orally. Being able to use intraorally is a key competitive differentiator for KATANA™ Cleaner. It is easy to restore the original bond strength for your cementations, once the contamination is cleaned inside the mouth.
