Koala suggests CLEARFIL REPAIR Multi Purpose for repairing fixed prosthetic restorations with porcelain and/or metal. The procedure is fast, simple and highly effective. Here are the steps required when doing a porcelain repair with composite:

1. Roughen the surface with a diamond point, rinse and dry.
2. Apply a phosphoric acid etching gel (ex. K-Etchant GEL) on the surface; leave in place for 5 seconds; then rinse and dry.
3. If the repair is to a Zirconia-Alumina prosthetic restoration, step 2 is not necessary.
4. Apply CLEARFIL CERAMIC PRIMER to the surface.
5. Dry the liquid sufficiently using low or medium pressure.
6. Apply the composite (ex. CLEARFIL MAJESTY ES-2) and light-cure, following the manufacturer’s instructions.

In the future, should your repair include a metal surface, you would apply ALLOY PRIMER, and then CLEARFIL ST Opaquer (if you want to mask the metal and prevent show-through).
